Toni Pennington - 6th Place - $1,746After playing terrific all day, Toni's time at the final table came to a close. But she went out like a true champion - to applause. The entire table applauded her, along with her support group on the rail.
Avner, Patricia, Lynn, and Barry rooter their friend on (keep in mind it's 2:30am). Toni and eleven other friends are all part of "The Rack Pack". "We support one another, go on poker cruises together...we literally picked each other up while playing poker."
The Rack Pack is floating around Borgata during the Spring Poker Open. They prefer to play Omaha and other mix games.
Toni did deserve applause. She was the chip leader before the bubble broke and ended up being the last woman standing.
She was disappointed in her 6th place finish because she had her eye on first place but the $1,746 she earned will certainly be put to good use.
Doug Zinneman knocked Toni out of Event 9 and had to come from behind to do so.
