$1,000 + 90 NL
The first big buy-in tournament of the Spring Open drew a field of 90 players.
The structure and field size allowed for tons of post-flop play and plenty of maneuvering for those willing to gamble and put chips at risk.
"There was lots of 3-betting and 4-betting," said 3rd place finisher Jennifer So.
Day 1 saw poker pros Dwyte Pilgrim and Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler hit the rail before the Dinner Break, but the action didn't stop there.
"This tournament had plenty of gamble, from start to finish the chips were flying," added Final table participant Paul "X Factor".
The Final Table was moved to the Signature Room, where the remaining 9 players battled for $90,000 in prize money. At the end of the day two young gun poker hopefuls put on a clinic, showcasing poker aggression at it's best.
The day ended with Casement holding all the chips and the coveted Borgata trophy... Congratulations James.
