Matt Kennedy, the Union Construction worker and part-time tournament player, fell short after a solid day of poker.
He grinded the short stack and picked his spots well, unfortunately he got super unlucky to become our 1K "Bubble Boy".
Matt got it all-in pre-flop with K♦J♠ vs the Q♠10♦ of Jacobo Fernandez, but saw the board run out J♣K♠2♦8♠9♦ to send him home. The unlucky river card puts the last 9 players in the money.
