Sparks Fly for Mike

Mike Sparks (Baltimore, MD) likes to wheel and deal and today the former repo man is hauling in lots of chips. "I'm taking advantage of the re-entry of other people for a change," says Sparks, who scored a nice pot with pocket aces on his first hand of the day.

"I've only played five hands," says Sparks, who's stacking close to 100k after busting his third player of the tournament.

In addition to making a living playing poker, Sparks makes a living buying and selling on E-bay. He says he lives on a 38' yacht that he's restoring after buying it on-line and currently has a Corvette listed for sale.

Sparks switched careers three years ago when he was in a near fatal accident while driving a tow truck for this repossession company. Now his only collisions are for big pots at the poker table.
