$170 + $30 Big Stack NL (2 Re-Entry)
Level 3: Blinds are up to 75/150. These 20 minute levels are flying by.
Poker players come into an event like this with different strategies in mind.
Some plan on entering once and only once and will play their usual game without consideration of the re-entry aspect.
Some enter with plans to play uber-aggressively during the re-entry period, attempting to accumulate lots of chips and knowing that if their plan fails, they can always re-enter and start over.
Some players plan to enter only once, but keep an eye out for those playing loosely and/or aggressively during the re-entry period and try to turn their strategy against them, knowing that if they fail, the re-entry safety net is still there.
Some players use the re-entry and low buy-in format to test out new styles of play, opening up their games and if they fail or get unlucky, head for the re-entry window.
Most agree that regardless of how they play during the re-entry period, they have to go back to their best game once re-entering is no longer an option.
