Craig Hunkele - 1st Place - $15,190
After 14 plus hours of play, Craig Hunkele won the tournament on his son's 10 year old birthday.
"I dedicate this win to my son Jason...Happy Birthday Dudey...from Dad" said an excited Craig.
Craig was gonna drive back to Pittsburgh tonight but then was offered a room. He'll certainly sleep soundly knowing he's $15,190 richer after taking down Event 10.
"The staff here did a great job all day" said Hunkele who admitted this score was his biggest ever Borgata cash.
Craig maintained a 2 to 1 chip lead for most of the heads up match against Josh Weizer. The last hand of 6-8 of spades proved lucky for Craig as he outflopped Josh then sweated out the turn and river for the win.
$15,190 will buy a lot of cake for son Jason and maybe a gift for Dad too.
