Way in the back of the Poker Room in the High Limit area, is table 83. Seated at opposite ends of that table are Tim Dougherty (Queens, NY) and Mike Pelkey (Wall Township, NJ).

They also have completely opposite styles. Tim takes notes on hands, furiously scribbling all the time, even hands he's not involved in. This style served him well in the $350 DeepStack NL event last week. Tim finished 24th (out of 727 players) in that event, earning $1,308. Looks like Tim has more than doubled his starting stack.
Mike, on the other hand, celebrated his 40th birthday yesterday. "He's only interested in drinking and having fun" said one of his table-mates. Mike admits he needs some help, as his chips seem to be dwindling.
Only time will tell which style pays off.
