David Heck opened for 600k from the small blind. Mario Perez announced he was all-in from the big.
David called, showing KJ offsuit. Mario was ahead with A9 suited.
The flop came T 9 6 extending Mario's lead to a pair of 9s. "Any King!" called David.
Turn was an Ace. "Queen!" cried David. Lo and behold, the river was....a Queen! David made Broadway to take the pot.

Mario Perez (Hillsborough, NJ) finished in 3rd place, earning $20,362.
Mario only plays poker as a hobby. His full-time work is in research at Novartis pharmaceuticals. He's married with three children, the oldest of which is already in college and his son just got accepted to Penn state.
Hopefully the $20,000 he picked up today will help with that tuition. After his excellent performance in this event, he'll be back to play again during the Spring Open, if he can manage the time.
