$300 + $50 NL (1 Re-entry)
May Siu (NYC) and Steve Fiorentini (Winchester, MA) are in a big hand right before the dinner break. Siu (150k) and Fiorentini (55k) see a flop of A 3 2 and Siu leads out for 7k.
Fiorentini reraises all in and Siu goes in the tank. She esposes an ace and before Fiorentini comments, Siu makes the call.
Siu: A♦ 2♣
Fiorentini: 7♦ 7♥
Siu has a pair of aces and a strong hold on the hand until the 7♣ hits the turn as Fiorentini hits the two outer to win the hand with a set.
"Everything happened so fast, so I'm glad I got the chips," says Fiorentini about Siu exposing her card. "When you do that, the rule is you either get a penalty or you're committed to fold."
Nothing else is made of the situation, but the table debates whether an infraction incurred and if Siu was trying to illicit a reaction; she drops to 95k.
