Alek Givotovsky, who won event 8, is only about 7 points behind Mike and he's also playing today. There are a lot of points up for grabs in this event as the winner will earn
100 points x 1.3 for the # of entries factor (1.4 if it tops 150 players) x 1.4 for the buy-in factor =
182 points.
Just for playing these guys are guaranteed to pick up 5 x 1.3 x 1.4 = 9.1 points.
