PLO ($300 + $50, 1 re-entry)
Freddie Rouhani (Gaithersburg, MD) is a Borgata regular with a WSOP Bracelet (2008, Omaha/Stud H/L) and more than $1.6 million in career earnings. Today he shows why he's a contender in the PLO as he knocks out two players on one hand.
On a board of K♣ 3♦ 4♠, Rouhani puts Phil Sheppard (Queens, NY) and George Gillis (Glen Burnie, MD) all-in.
Rouhani tables Q♥ 4♥ 5♥ 3♣ for a flopped two pairs (threes and fours).
The final board is K♣ 3♦ 4♠ Q♦ Q♣ and Rouhani wins it with a full house queens full of fours.
"Sometimes you have to get lucky," says Rouhani, "but what can I say, I flopped two pair."
After the hand the table breaks and 34 players remain. Rouhani is now to the right of Chris Reslock (Atlantic City, NJ), who is also a WSOP Bracelet holder (2007, Stud).
Rouhani is one of the larger stacks with 34k, while Reslock has 21k.
