Event 18: Set over Set

$2500 + $200 Double Play NL Championship

Feming Chan (W. Windsor, NJ) and the player to his right see a flop of A♠ 6♠ 5♠. Chan bets 2,700, Seat 2 raises to 8k, Chan calls.

The turn is the 9♣, Seat 2 moves all in for 23k and Chan reluctantly calls with pocket aces because of the three flush on board. It's a good call as his opponent has pocket 5s and is the victim of set over set.

James Boyle is at the table and says, "that's a heck of a call with all those spades. I don't know if I could do it." But then he adds, "who am I kidding I couldn't fold there."

Chan, who has $850,000 career earnings and a dozen Borgata cashes, barely has his opponent covered and is now at 68k. Despite the bust out the anonymous player is in good spirits and wishes everyone at the table well.
