Event 18: Go Figa

$2500 + $200 Double Play NL Championship

Dealers hate when they flip a card during the deal and the player who's ace is exposed and put into the muck hates it even more.

John Figa (Flemington, NJ) is the unlucky player who's ace is dead on Table 7. Figa is given a replacement card and is still in the hand and when he wins the pot with a post flop bet. He can't wait to show the table that he has pocket aces!

No harm, no foul as Figa gets his aces and wins the pot.

Player Update:

Daniel Voccia (West Hampton Beach, NY), who was trying to turn $80 into a big score has busted. He'll be back for Day 1B, but isn't playing in tonight's last chance satellite (6 pm start), saying, "I'll do what I should've done in the first place, pay my way in."
