Event 15: Bubble Breaks - Stout Out

$1000 + $90 NL

Just before 2am during hand for hand, the bubble breaks.

Over on table 2 - Dwyte Pilgrim opens, Matt Stout shoves, and Eric Panayiotou jams.

Dwyte gets out of the way and we're looking at Stout's K-Q vs. Panayiotou's AK. Big slick holds and Stout is out.

At the same time on a different table, Joe W. also had A-K, but he was breathing his last breath against Marc Podell's cowboys. Both players were all in pre. K-K holds and Podell is also out.

Who had more chips to start the hand? Joe W had Stout outchipped which makes Stout the bubble and Joe W. the 18th place finisher for a $2,125 min cash.

A lesson to everyone out there, once you bust out on the bubble, don't physically bust out of the room. Joe assumed he was the bubble when actually he hit the cash.

On a sidenote, right before being dealt pocket kings, Marc Podell brought out an entire army of chip protectors. He lined them up on the felt in front of his chips. What do you know, it must have worked.

Podell's Cheering Section (He's about to look at KK)

Podell shouted that he now was gonna win this thing. We'll see tomorrow at noon when play continues...
