Event 18: 6th Place - Levitan

$2500 + $200 Double Play NL Championship

Adam Levitan (Philadelphia, PA)
$51,489

Adam Levitan 3-bets all-in from the small blind and is called by Adam Cook.

Levitan: K♠ 10
Cook A♠ Q♠

Flop: 4 A 2♠ (Cook leads, pair of aces)
Turn: A♣ (Levitan drawing dead)
River 4

Levitan starts the hand with 1.1 million and barely has Cook covered leaving himself 47k. Levitan survives two all ins to get his stack back to 400k, but is eventually knocked out in 6th place.

"I would play that hand the same way 10 out of 10 times," says the 28 year old writer. "I didn't 3-bet him all day and it happen he has a hand."

Levitan is three weeks from his wedding day and lists is greatest accomplishment outside of poker as, "finding a woman to actually love me." He says today's payday will help take the stress off of an expensive honeymoon.
