The Chef, Both On and Off the Felt

AJ "The Chef" Moriello (Springfield, NJ) is a Borgata regular, but his full time job is running a pizza restaurant in North Jersey. That's why he uses a salt shaker, in the shape of a chef, as his card protector.

"I throw a dash over my shoulder when I'm ahead," says Moriello when he's facing an all-in. "It helps stop the river card from hurting me."

Moriello also carries a picture of his brother-in-law "Joe Pizza" who passed away two years ago. He too owned a pizza shop and is always with Moriello who's looking to take home his piece of the pie.
