John Myung played day 1A and busted out, so he returned today to take another shot.
His second attempt was shorter than the first. He got tangled up in a pot with George Medrano (Rego Park, NY). John opened for 125, George raised to 650, and John called. On the flop of 8 5 2 with two diamonds, John checked, George made a pot-sized bet, John raised to 4 times the bet, George shoved, and John called all-in.
John held A4 of diamonds for the nut-flush draw with gutshot draw to a wheel. George was ahead with pocket Tens. The last two came offsuit running 9s and John was busted. George chipped up to about 55k.
