Alas he was getting blinded out with 5 players left and had to shove with A-5. Amine Chabane quickly called him holding A-6.
Chabane hit a 6 on the flop and Julian picked up the nut flush draw on the turn. But in the end 5th place for $8,979 will make a great birthday present.
Julian told me he played his butt off today and will see everyone in the Championship Event.
This the third deep run the kid has made at Borgata.
